I am a public health researcher based in Kathmandu, Nepal, dedicated to translating data into better health policies.
With a background in Epidemiology and Health Statistics (MSc), I focus on maternal and neonatal health, equity, survey analytics, and health systems strengthening. I have extensive experience in designing studies, managing field teams, and analyzing complex datasets using R, Stata, and other tools.
01 Experience
Collaborative public health research across Nepal and China
A consolidated mix of analytics, field leadership, and policy-facing outputs spanning maternal, neonatal, equity, nutrition, and health systems topics.
- Align national Essential Health Care Package interventions with the WHO UHC compendium; assemble costing and coverage datasets for priority setting.
- Develop analytical code for burden of disease and equity analyses; translate findings into policy-ready summaries and visuals.
- Design and lead baseline studies on maternal and newborn health using KoBo tools and facility data; deliver clear facility-level feedback.
- Train and coordinate field teams, assuring data quality across survey, qualitative, and mixed-methods studies.
- Conduct reproductive health and task-shifting research; draft reports and evidence briefs for partners and stakeholders.
